Dr. Victor Chan
Born in Hong Kong and educated in Canada and the United States, Victor Chan began his career as a particle physics researcher before transitioning into a distinguished scholar and author. In 1972, a chance encounter with the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India, blossomed into a 50-year friendship. Together, they co-authored two books and shared a mission of fostering global compassion and cultural understanding. Chan has traveled extensively through Tibet and the Himalayas, dedicating his life to bridging Eastern and Western thought through dialogue and scholarship.
