A Peter, Paul & Mary Celebration — A Benefit for the Mariposa Museum

Friday, November 7 | Doors 6:30 PM | Show 7:00 PM
Peterborough UU Church

A Peter, Paul and Mary Celebration featuring some of the top Monadnock area folk musicians will be held on Friday, November 7 at the Peterborough UU Church as a benefit for the Mariposa Museum.

The show will feature members of Decatur Creek (Doug Farrell & Beth Eldridge), Off the Cuff (Jonas Taub, Pamela Smith & Andy Chapman), as well as Scott Heron and Joey Clark. Volkert Volkersz, former host of the DubHub Open Mic, will also perform and serve as MC for the evening.

Peter, Paul and Mary have had a profound influence on all of the musicians in this show. One of the performers, Doug Farrell, has shared the stage with Noel Paul Stookey (Paul in the trio), and Volkert Volkersz has corresponded with Noel on numerous occasions. Volkert will share a special excerpt from Noel’s forthcoming autobiography about how the trio first met in Greenwich Village in the early 1960s.

This concert will include favorite singalongs such as “Puff, the Magic Dragon,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” — plus beloved winter holiday classics from the Peter, Paul & Mary catalog.
