  • The Samburu tribe covers about 1% of central Kenya.

  • The samburu tribe made this necklace with seashells and sea glass for the beads.

  • The Samburu tribe wears the necklace and they traded it with many other tribes in the area.

  •  The necklace was worn when there was a ceremony, like when the boys turn in to warriors ceremony, called the warrior ceremony. Also it was used for decoration and fashion.
