By: Kacey

Womans Kanga ClothKangas are a light, towel- sized cloth material, used as clothing in Africa.

Kangas are usually very colorful and have a variety of patterns, but they also have meanings written on them, or incorporated into the design. Certain meanings are worn on appropriate occasions. The designs are usually very complex, but some can be simpler. Kangas have great detail and can show animals, people, nature, but mostly just beautiful shapes and colors. These cloths are very popular in Africa and are seen on very many people all throughout Africa.
